From 1 November, Madhya Pradesh’s district hospitals and government medical colleges will host free special chest clinics for respiratory patients, operating until 28 February 2027.
The state health department announced that, beginning 1 November, dedicated chest clinics will be set up in all district hospitals and government medical colleges across Madhya Pradesh. These clinics are intended to provide free diagnostic tests and treatment for patients suffering from respiratory ailments. The initiative will run for a limited period, with services scheduled to continue until 28 February 2027. Health officials said the move aims to improve early detection of lung diseases and reduce the financial burden on low‑income families. Patients can walk in without prior appointments and receive care at no cost.
