Akhilesh Yadav criticised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent US trip and protested the suspension of his X account, calling both actions politically motivated.
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav publicly rebuked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent visit to the United States, describing the trip as ill‑timed and out of sync with the concerns of ordinary Indians.
Yadav also highlighted that his own X (formerly Twitter) account was suspended, alleging that the platform’s action reflected a bias against opposition voices.
The RSS chief’s US trip, which took place earlier this week, was intended to engage with the Indian diaspora and discuss cultural ties, but Yadav argued that the timing sent a confusing political signal.
No official response from the RSS or the X platform has been recorded as of now, leaving the controversy open for further political debate.
