A combined rolling block on the Tatanagar‑Asansol route in South Eastern Railway’s Adra division will run from 2 to 8 November, cancelling two pairs of MEMU services on 2, 5 and 8 November.

South Eastern Railway has announced a combined rolling block on the Tatanagar‑Asansol line within its Adra division, scheduled from 2 November through 8 November. The maintenance work will affect multiple passenger and freight services along the corridor.

During the block, two pairs of MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) trains slated for 2, 5 and 8 November will be cancelled. Travelers are advised to consult the railway’s official website or contact enquiry counters for alternative arrangements and possible substitute trains.

The block is part of routine track and signalling upgrades intended to boost line capacity and safety. Normal train operations are expected to resume on 9 November, once the work is completed.

Passengers should keep an eye on real‑time updates, as the railway may issue further notices regarding platform changes or additional temporary services.
