South Africa wrapped up the two‑match Test series with a dominant 176‑run win over Australia. The margin not only gave the Proteas a clean sweep but also earned them valuable points in the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC). As a result, Australia, which had been leading the WTC table, slipped to second place, ceding the top spot to New Zealand.
