The forthcoming memoir of Congress veteran Sonia Gandhi has ignited a fresh political debate, with leaders across parties weighing in ahead of its scheduled release.
Sonia Gandhi, the long‑time president of the Indian National Congress, is set to publish a memoir later this year. The announcement has already drawn considerable attention, as the book is expected to offer personal insights into her decades‑long political journey.
The impending publication has become a flashpoint in the political arena. Opposition parties, particularly the BJP, have suggested that the memoir could be timed to influence voter sentiment ahead of upcoming elections, while Congress supporters argue that it is a personal recollection rather than a campaign tool.
Analysts note that the debate underscores the memoir’s potential to shape public discourse. Media houses are preparing extensive coverage, and the launch event is anticipated to attract senior party figures and journalists, though exact details remain under discussion.
