In a tragic incident, a grandfather and his two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter succumbed to snake bites in the Reethi area of Katni. The snake attacked them while they were asleep. The victims were rushed to the district hospital, where they were pronounced dead during treatment. The incident has left the family in shock and grief.
