Meteorological data shows a modest rise in rainfall across Telangana on the day of reporting.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported a slight uptick in rainfall across the state of Telangana today, noting that several districts experienced measurable precipitation after a relatively dry spell. The increase, though modest, was observed in both urban and rural areas, with rain gauges recording a few millimeters of rain in the early hours.
Officials said the rise aligns with the seasonal monsoon pattern that typically brings intermittent showers to the region during this period. No significant flooding or disruption to daily activities has been reported so far, and authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
The IMD has advised residents to stay updated with local weather bulletins, especially in low‑lying zones, as further showers are possible later in the day. Agricultural stakeholders are also keeping an eye on the moisture levels, which could benefit crops awaiting adequate water.
Overall, the weather outlook remains stable, with expectations of continued light rain in parts of Telangana over the next 24 hours.
