Six Elevated Stations on Bangalore’s Pink Line Completed, Safety Inspection to Follow
Construction of the first six elevated stations on the Namma Metro Pink Line from Nagawara to Kalyan Agrahara has been finished, with a statutory safety inspection scheduled soon.
The first phase of Bangalore’s Pink Line metro project has reached a major milestone as the construction of six elevated stations between Nagawara and Kalyan Agrahara is now fully completed. The civil works, including station structures, platforms and associated infrastructure, have been handed over to the project’s overseeing authority.
With the structural work concluded, the next step is a statutory safety inspection mandated by the government. The inspection will assess the integrity of the stations and related systems before any trial runs or public operations can commence.
Completion of these stations moves the Pink Line closer to its planned operational launch, expanding the city’s rapid transit network and improving connectivity across key northern suburbs of Bengaluru.
