Students at Sikkim University in Gangtok staged a series of peaceful solidarity gatherings on Tuesday to show support for renowned educationist Sonam Wangchuk.
The rallies, organized by student bodies across the campus, were held in the university’s main quad and the library courtyard.
Participants called for comprehensive reforms in the state’s education system, including better infrastructure, updated curricula, and increased funding for research.
