The Sikkim state administration has launched an artificial‑intelligence driven learning platform, dubbed “AI Fun Zone”, across its government schools.
The Sikkim government announced the launch of an artificial‑intelligence based learning programme designed for its network of government schools. The initiative, branded as “AI Fun Zone”, will provide students with interactive digital content and tools powered by AI algorithms.
Under the scheme, schools will receive access to a cloud‑hosted platform that adapts lessons to individual learning speeds, offers virtual labs, and incorporates gamified assessments. Teachers are slated to receive training on integrating the technology into classroom routines.
State officials said the programme aims to bridge the digital divide and raise the overall quality of education in the hilly state. It aligns with the central government’s push for technology‑enabled learning and is expected to be rolled out in phases across all districts.
