Sikh Groups Demand Apology Over Timing of INDIA Bloc Rally

Sikh groups and survivors of the 1984 anti‑Sikh riots have publicly questioned the timing of an INDIA bloc rally set for November 1. The protestors argue that the event’s schedule is insensitive to the memory of the 1984 tragedy. They have demanded an apology from the organisers, citing the emotional impact on the community. The rally, organised by the INDIA bloc, is scheduled to take place on the anniversary of the riots, prompting widespread criticism from the Sikh community. The organisers have yet to respond to the demands.
