The Shri Kshetra Siddarabetta temple in Koratagere, Tumkur district, Karnataka, has announced an expanded daily prasadam program to serve devotees and students. The new arrangement provides a light breakfast until 10:00 am, followed by a spread of rice, sambar, curd and the traditional Holige‑tupp offering from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
The Holige‑tupp ritual, a long‑standing tradition of devotion, has been difficult for many devotees to participate in due to time constraints. The updated schedule ensures that all visitors, regardless of caste or religion, receive prasadam and can partake in the offering.
Under the guidance of Shri Veerabhadreshwara Swami and Shri Sh. B.R. Veerabhadshivaacharya Mahaswami, the temple has launched a donation drive. Donors who contribute one lakh rupees will have a seva conducted in their name on the day of donation and will be appointed as members of the Nitya Dasoha Samiti. The funds will sustain the daily prasadam and support students from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Meghalaya who study at the temple.
The initiative reflects the temple’s commitment to equality and spiritual nourishment. The community is invited to participate and support this ongoing tradition.
