In the Taradehi region of Damoh, a Shivling reportedly appeared in a river about 15 years ago and has been growing in size each year, drawing large crowds of devotees during the Sawan season.
The Sankla Shiv Temple, situated in the Taradehi area of Damoh district, has long been a focal point for local devotees. According to village lore, a Shivling emerged from the river that flows nearby about fifteen years ago. Since its appearance, the lingam has reportedly increased in size each year, a phenomenon that has intrigued both believers and curious onlookers. During the Sawan season, the temple attracts thousands of worshippers who come to offer prayers and seek blessings, turning the area into a bustling pilgrimage site.
