The Sharda River in Uttar Pradesh has risen above its danger level, causing floodwaters to spill into villages. A tree fell on a biker and a rain alert has been issued for all 75 districts.

The Sharda River, a tributary of the Ganga, has surged above its danger level in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The rise was recorded by local water authorities after heavy rainfall in the region.

Floodwaters have already entered several villages along the river’s banks, inundating homes and disrupting daily life. Residents have been advised to evacuate and seek higher ground.

In a separate incident, a fallen tree struck a motorbike rider, causing injuries that required immediate medical attention. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

The Uttar Pradesh Disaster Management Authority has issued a rain alert for all 75 districts, urging residents to stay alert and follow official guidance.
