Shahdol: Stone Pelting on Police

A disturbing incident of stone pelting on police has been reported from Shahdol district in Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred in Jamui village, where a wedding procession was underway. A dispute broke out between the wedding participants and the locals, following which the police were called in to intervene. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when a police vehicle, part of the Dial-112 service, was pelted with stones. The perpetrators of the crime are still at large. The police are investigating the matter and trying to identify those responsible for the attack.
