The Madhya Pradesh government announced that a batch of IAS officers will receive promotions effective 1 January 2027.
The state government of Madhya Pradesh issued an official notification stating that a group of Indian Administrative Service officers will be promoted effective 1 January 2027.
The promotion is part of the regular career‑progression schedule and will lead to changes in seniority and posting responsibilities across various districts.
The list, released by the Department of Personnel, includes officers currently serving in key administrative roles, and the promotions will be reflected in the state’s civil‑service records from the start of the new year.
Officials expect the move to streamline administrative functions ahead of upcoming fiscal planning, although no specific number of officers was disclosed.
