The State Economic and Technical Upgrade (SETU) Aayog has confirmed that it will release a strategic vision document titled “Viksit Uttarakhand‑2047”. The paper is intended to chart a long‑term development pathway for the Himalayan state, covering sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
SETU Aayog officials said the document will be presented in an upcoming press briefing, where detailed policy recommendations and implementation frameworks will be outlined. The agency, which functions as a state‑level think‑tank, aims to provide data‑driven guidance to the Uttarakhand government for the next two and a half decades.
Stakeholders from the public and private sectors are expected to review the vision and offer feedback before it is formally adopted. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to boost regional growth and improve the quality of life for residents across Uttarakhand.
