Young forward Shiva from Sesa Football Academy is among the candidates battling for a place in the India Under-15 national football team.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has opened trials for the India Under-15 squad, and several promising youngsters have entered the fray. Among them is Shiva, a forward who has been honing his skills at the Sesa Football Academy in Goa.
Shiva has impressed coaches with his pace, dribbling and finishing ability during recent academy matches and inter‑state tournaments. His performances have earned him a place in the final pool of candidates invited to the national camp.
