NAZIR Ahmad Sofi
Senior BJP leader former corporator district sectry bhat shaheen apriciat to the Modi Government Takes Historic Step for J&K Police SPOs
The Modi Government has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare and future of the Jammu & Kashmir Police, particularly the Special Police Officers (SPOs), who have served the nation with courage, dedication and sacrifice under extremely difficult circumstances.
For nearly four decades, SPOs have continued to perform their duties with commitment while facing uncertainty about their future and financial security. Today, the BJP Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has taken a significant step towards strengthening their dignity and welfare by increasing their salary.
This decision is not merely a financial enhancement—it is recognition of the sacrifices, dedication and patriotism of thousands of SPOs who have stood firmly with the security forces and the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
I sincerely congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, and the Jammu & Kashmir Police for this important initiative. This decision will boost the morale of SPOs and further strengthen their dedication towards maintaining peace and security in Jammu & Kashmir.
The BJP Government has always believed that those who serve the nation must receive respect, dignity and a secure future. The welfare of J&K's police personnel remains a priority, and this decision is another strong example of that commitment.
