Sculptor Atul Pal Creates 45-Degree One-Leg Ganesha Statue in Indore

Indore-based sculptor Atul Pal, together with his assistants, has finished an unusual clay statue of Lord Ganesha. The figure stands on a single foot and is held at a 45-degree tilt, its balance achieved through a hidden iron girder framework. The design was inspired by a similar model displayed in Mumbai, and the artisans spent roughly two and a half months shaping and stabilising the piece. The completed statue is now being dispatched to Rajgarh, where it will be installed for public viewing. This artistic endeavor highlights the blend of traditional devotion and modern engineering in contemporary Indian sculpture.
