A minor girl in Kishtwar was allegedly raped and impregnated by a school headmaster and subsequently died following a stillbirth, authorities said.
Kishtwar district officials reported that a girl below the age of consent was allegedly sexually assaulted by the headmaster of a local school. The victim, identified only as a minor, was said to have become pregnant as a result of the alleged rape.
The pregnancy ended in a stillbirth, after which the girl succumbed to complications and died, according to the police statement. Medical reports confirmed the stillbirth and the subsequent fatal outcome.
