Sawan's Swings Disappear

The month of Sawan is synonymous with greenery, rain, swings, and religious faith. However, with the advent of urbanization and modern lifestyle, the traditional swings of Sawan have become a rare sight in cities. In Madhya Pradesh, this trend is evident, where the swings that were once an integral part of the festival are now hardly seen. The reasons behind this disappearance are many, but the primary factor is the changing lifestyle of people, who now prefer indoor activities over traditional outdoor games and celebrations.
