Saudi Arabian carrier Saudia announced its new Premium Economy class, with the first aircraft expected to feature the cabin from 2027.
Saudia, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, unveiled a new Premium Economy cabin during a recent press briefing. The airline said the product will sit between its existing Economy and Business classes, offering wider seats, enhanced dining and additional baggage allowance.
The rollout is scheduled to start in 2027, with the first aircraft slated to feature the cabin on select long‑haul routes. Saudia aims to attract price‑sensitive travelers seeking more comfort without the full Business class price.
Industry analysts note that the move aligns with a broader trend among Middle Eastern carriers to diversify cabin offerings and capture a growing segment of premium‑economy demand.
