Two local leaders, Sanjay Saravgi and Gopal Ji Thakur, exercised their franchise by voting in the ongoing Bihar polls, underscoring citizen participation in the democratic process.
Sanjay Saravgi and Gopal Ji Thakur visited their designated polling station in Bihar on election day and cast their ballots as part of the state-wide voting exercise. Both individuals are known in their local constituencies and their participation was recorded by election officials without incident.
The voting took place under the supervision of the Election Commission of India, which has deployed security personnel and poll workers to ensure a smooth process across the state. Voters were required to present valid identification before receiving the electronic voting machine, which they used to select their preferred candidates.
Their votes add to the total turnout that the commission hopes will reflect robust citizen engagement in the upcoming legislative assembly formation. Observers note that the presence of recognizable community figures at the polls can encourage higher participation among nearby residents.
The election, scheduled to conclude in the coming days, will determine the composition of Bihar's legislative assembly and shape the state's policy direction for the next five years.
