Sangai Fest Celebrated as Manipur’s Signature Cultural Event, Says Loken

Loken, a prominent cultural advocate, reiterated that the Sangai Festival is expressly organised for the people of Manipur, aiming to highlight the state’s unique wildlife, art and traditions.

The annual event, held in Imphal and surrounding districts, brings together folk performances, handloom exhibitions and wildlife displays, with the endangered Sangai deer as its emblem.
