Samsung has installed ten new STEM laboratories across government schools in Tamil Nadu, aiming to boost science and technology education.
Samsung announced the establishment of ten state‑of‑the‑art STEM laboratories in government schools across Tamil Nadu. The initiative is part of the company's broader effort to promote digital literacy and hands‑on learning in the public education sector.
The labs are equipped with modern equipment for robotics, coding, electronics and scientific experimentation, allowing students to engage directly with technology curricula. Samsung has coordinated with the Tamil Nadu School Education Department to identify schools that will benefit most from the facilities.
Officials from Samsung said the project aims to nurture curiosity and improve competency in science, technology, engineering and mathematics among school‑age children, thereby strengthening the talent pipeline for future innovation.
The rollout is expected to reach thousands of students in the coming months, with plans to monitor usage and learning outcomes to guide further expansion of similar programs.
