Industry sources say the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A38 5G will continue to feature a 50‑megapixel triple rear‑camera array, confirming earlier rumours.
Samsung is preparing to launch its mid‑range Galaxy A38 5G in India later this year. The device is positioned to bridge the gap between budget smartphones and flagship models, offering 5G connectivity at a competitive price point.
According to reports from India Business Trade, the A38 5G will retain the 50‑megapixel primary sensor that was hinted at in earlier leaks, complemented by two auxiliary lenses to form a triple‑camera system on the rear. The high‑resolution sensor is expected to deliver detailed photos even in low‑light conditions.
The camera configuration aligns with Samsung’s strategy of equipping its A‑series phones with flagship‑grade imaging hardware while keeping other specifications, such as processor and display, within the mid‑range bracket. Analysts anticipate that the inclusion of a 50MP sensor will enhance the phone’s appeal among photography‑enthusiastic consumers.
Samsung has not released an official price or launch date yet, but market watchers expect the Galaxy A38 5G to be priced competitively against rivals like Xiaomi and Realme. The company is likely to roll out the device across major Indian e‑commerce platforms and offline retail chains.
