Salman Khan ended a hunger strike aimed at body‑shaming trolls, announcing the move with the catchphrase “It’s Done Bro”, which quickly spread across social media.
Salman Khan, a prominent Bollywood actor, announced the conclusion of a hunger strike that he had undertaken in response to online body‑shaming trolls. The protest began earlier this month after a wave of negative comments targeted his physique.
In a brief statement posted on his official social media handles, Khan declared the strike over, using the phrase “It’s Done Bro”. The comment was met with widespread attention, and the phrase quickly became a trending hashtag across platforms.
The actor’s move was seen as a stand against cyberbullying, with many fans praising his courage. Critics noted that the strike, while symbolic, highlighted the growing issue of online harassment in India.
Following the announcement, the hashtag #ItsDoneBro trended for several hours, with users sharing memes, supportive messages, and calling for stricter online conduct policies. Khan’s action has sparked a broader conversation about digital etiquette and the responsibilities of public figures.
