A former guard who was dismissed from service has been arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of a scientist’s daughter in Telangana.
A former guard, dismissed from his post, was among two individuals arrested by the police in connection with the murder of a scientist’s daughter in Telangana.
The arrest comes after investigators traced the suspect’s movements to the crime scene.
The victim, the daughter of a prominent scientist, was found dead in her residence earlier this month.
Police officials said the sacked guard had been under scrutiny for irregularities before his dismissal.
They are now probing whether he acted alone or was part of a larger conspiracy.
