The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has commenced its three‑day executive committee session in Indore, with chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat among the participants and a special presentation on Kanha river purification on the agenda.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) began its three‑day executive committee meeting in Indore today, bringing together senior functionaries from across the organization. The session, scheduled to run through the weekend, is intended to review the Sangh’s strategic plans and operational priorities.
Union chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat arrived in the city and took part in the inaugural proceedings, underscoring the importance the RSS places on the central Indian region. His presence was noted by local volunteers and media representatives.
Among the items on the agenda is a dedicated presentation on the purification of the Kanha River, a project the Sangh has been promoting as part of its environmental outreach. Officials outlined proposed measures for cleaning and revitalising the waterway.
Organisers said the meeting will conclude with recommendations for community‑level initiatives, including further environmental programmes. The outcomes are expected to be communicated to RSS branches nationwide.
The gathering reflects the RSS’s continued focus on both ideological discourse and practical development projects in Madhya Pradesh.
