The RSS All‑India Executive Council convened at Daily College in Indore on Monday, drawing 408 officials from across the nation to deliberate on a proposal to reorganise the country into 90 districts instead of the current 46 provinces.
The All‑India Executive Council of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) met on Monday at Daily College in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to discuss a significant organisational change.
A total of 408 officials from all over India attended the session, representing the organisation’s regional units.
The central agenda was the proposal to restructure the country into 90 districts, replacing the existing 46 provinces. The discussion centred on administrative efficiency, local governance and resource distribution.
While no final decision was announced, the council agreed to form a working group to study the feasibility of the plan and present recommendations in the next meeting.
