Devotees offered a total of Rs 35.66 crore to the Sanvalia Seth Temple in Chittorgarh during Shravan, and temple treasurers recovered more than 1 kg of gold and over 133 kg of silver.
During the auspicious month of Shravan, worshippers gathered at the Sanvalia Seth Temple in Chittorgarh and collectively contributed Rs 35.66 crore. The large sum was recorded by temple officials as part of the month‑long donation drive.
In addition to cash, the temple’s treasury yielded a substantial cache of precious metals. Officials reported the recovery of 1 kilogram 38 grams of gold along with 133 kilograms 653 grams of silver from the temple’s storage.
Temple authorities said the proceeds will be directed toward renovation of the shrine, maintenance of daily rituals and charitable activities for the local community.
