RJD Upsets BJP in Darbhanga MLC Polls

The recent MLC polls in Darbhanga saw a surprising outcome as the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) managed to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The victory came after a tight contest, with RJD candidates securing a majority of the seats allotted to the constituency. Analysts note that the result reflects shifting voter sentiment in the region, with local issues and candidate profiles playing a significant role. The BJP, which had expected to maintain its foothold, expressed disappointment, while RJD officials celebrated the win as a testament to their grassroots campaign.
