RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav staged a protest march to Raj Bhavan in Patna, demanding the chief minister address the recent AK‑47 shooting that injured students.

Tejashwi Yadav, senior leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, led a procession of party workers and supporters on the streets of Patna, heading towards the state’s Raj Bhavan. The march was organized to confront the state administration over a recent incident in which several students were injured by an AK‑47 firearm.

The RJD chief repeatedly asked the chief minister why there has been no public comment or action regarding the shooting, calling the silence unacceptable. He urged the government to launch a swift investigation and provide medical and legal assistance to the victims.

Yadav’s supporters formed a human chain around the Raj Bhavan premises, demanding a meeting with officials. Police personnel were present to maintain order, but the protest remained peaceful as demonstrators chanted slogans and held placards highlighting the students’ plight.

The rally underscores growing political pressure in Bihar over law‑and‑order concerns, with the opposition seeking to hold the ruling government accountable for the safety of young citizens.
