IMDb’s weekly data shows that a returning horror series has become the most-watched show on Hulu for the current week.
IMDb’s latest weekly streaming report indicates that a horror series, back with a new season, has claimed the top spot among all titles on Hulu for the current week. The ranking reflects the series’ strong pull among viewers who are increasingly turning to genre content on streaming platforms.
The surge in viewership underscores a broader trend of audiences seeking immersive, suspense‑driven narratives, especially as the genre enjoys renewed interest worldwide. Analysts note that horror’s blend of intrigue and emotional release often drives repeat and binge‑watching behavior.
Hulu, which competes fiercely in the on‑demand market, regularly publishes viewership data through partners like IMDb to highlight popular content. The platform’s promotion of the returning series, combined with its placement in the horror category, likely contributed to its rapid climb to the top of the weekly chart.
Industry observers suggest that the series’ performance could influence Hulu’s future programming decisions, potentially prompting more investments in genre‑specific projects to capture similar audience enthusiasm.
