Regional science centres have supplied 1,000 government high schools in rural areas with free mini science lab kits to encourage research interest among underprivileged students.
Regional science centres have distributed free mini science lab kits to 1,000 government high schools in rural parts of the state, aiming to foster a research mindset among poor students.
The initiative is part of an effort to stimulate scientific curiosity and hands‑on learning in schools that lack adequate laboratory facilities. By providing these kits, the centres hope to give students practical experience in conducting experiments.
The kits were delivered directly to the schools by the regional science centres, ensuring that each institution receives the necessary equipment without any cost to the school or its students.
The distribution is expected to enhance students’ engagement with science subjects and may inspire more of them to pursue careers in research and technology.
