Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has retained his position as the world’s number‑one bowler in the ICC ODI rankings, according to the latest update.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest One Day International (ODI) bowling rankings, confirming that Afghanistan’s leg‑spinner Rashid Khan remains at the top of the list. Khan’s consistent wicket‑taking ability and low economy rate have kept him ahead of his peers in the global rankings.
The update also highlighted a notable rise for fellow Afghan bowler Sediqullah Atal, who moved up several places, underscoring the growing strength of Afghanistan’s pace attack. However, the headline of the release is Khan’s continued dominance in the ODI format.
Analysts note that Khan’s retention of the No.1 spot reflects his sustained performance across recent series and tournaments, reinforcing his reputation as one of the world’s premier limited‑overs bowlers.
