A proposal aims to link Ranthambore, Kuno and Madhav tiger reserves into a single wildlife tourism circuit, allowing visitors to spot tigers, cheetahs and historic sites in one journey.
The tourism department of Rajasthan has put forward a plan to create a wildlife tourism circuit that connects three major tiger reserves – Ranthambore in Rajasthan, Kuno in Madhya Pradesh and Madhav in the same state. The initiative seeks to offer a seamless travel experience where tourists can move from one protected area to another without the need for separate trips.
Under the proposed circuit, visitors will have the opportunity to observe both tigers and the newly reintroduced cheetahs in their natural habitats. In addition to wildlife sightings, the route is expected to include visits to historic landmarks situated near the reserves, enriching the overall itinerary.
Officials said the circuit is designed to boost eco‑tourism, generate employment in local communities and promote conservation awareness. Detailed routes, infrastructure upgrades and promotional strategies are slated for discussion in upcoming meetings.
If approved, the circuit could position the region as a premier destination for nature lovers and heritage enthusiasts alike, combining the rugged charm of Ranthambore’s forts with the expansive plains of Kuno and Madhav.
