Doctors in Ranchi inspected the health of candidates protesting for JPSC and JSSC exams after a hunger strike.
Doctors from a local hospital in Ranchi visited the site of a hunger strike by candidates preparing for the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Subordinate Services Commission (JSSC) exams. They conducted basic health assessments, measuring pulse, blood pressure and temperature of the participants. The medical team also provided first‑aid advice and advised the aspirants to seek further care if required.
The protest, which began earlier this week, was organized by students demanding better preparation facilities and clearer examination schedules. While the strike has drawn attention to the candidates’ grievances, the medical intervention aimed to ensure that the protest does not endanger the health of the participants.
