Ranbir Kapoor, known for his roles in films such as "Ramayana", made a visit to a local temple in search of Maa Durga’s blessings ahead of the release of director Nitesh Tiwari’s new epic. The actor was seen offering prayers and lighting incense, a customary ritual among many Bollywood stars before a big launch.
Tiwari’s film, expected to be a large-scale historical drama, is slated for release in the coming weeks. Kapoor, who has worked with the director on previous projects, said that seeking divine blessings is a personal tradition that he follows before major ventures.
In a brief statement, Kapoor expressed his confidence that Maa Durga’s grace would help the film achieve both critical acclaim and box‑office success. He also thanked his fans for their continued support.
Such pre‑release rituals are common in the industry, where actors often turn to spirituality for guidance and protection. The gesture underscores the blend of faith and cinema that characterizes many Bollywood productions.
