The Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre in Jodhpur opened its gates to cadets from the Rashtriya Indian Military College and children from the Himalayan state of Sikkim for a week‑long cultural exchange.
The event, organised by the centre’s command staff, featured interactive sessions on military history, discipline, and sports, aimed at fostering camaraderie between the cadets and the young visitors.
Children from Sikkim participated in workshops on traditional music, dance and crafts, and performed at the centre’s evening cultural programme, which was attended by senior officers and local dignitaries.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Indian Army to strengthen ties between its regimental centres and communities across the country, promoting mutual understanding and national integration.
