Rajgir Zoo and Nature Safari Closed on Vijayadashami (Oct 20) – No Entry for Tourists

The Rajgir Zoo Safari and Nature Safari will remain closed on October 20, Vijayadashami, as per a joint order from the state's Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department.
The Rajgir Zoo Safari and the adjoining Nature Safari will not be operational on 20 October, the day of Vijayadashami, following a joint directive issued by the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department of Bihar.
The closure is expected to extend for two consecutive days, meaning visitors will be unable to obtain entry passes on both Vijayadashami and the following day.
Tourists planning to visit Rajgir’s wildlife attractions have been advised to postpone their trips or seek alternative destinations until the safaris reopen.
The order was released by the Rajgir Zoo Safari office, which manages both the zoo and nature safari facilities, to ensure safety and compliance with environmental guidelines during the festive period.
