Rajasthan's Ananta Resort villas linked to IAS officer's family receive Rs115 crore investment

The developer of the Ananta Resort in Alwar, which built 20 villas purchased by IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal’s family, has been awarded a special Rs115 crore investment package under the state’s RIPS 2019 scheme.
Alwar district’s Ananta Resort, located in Rajasthan’s Ajabgarh area, saw 20 luxury villas purchased by the family of IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal. The construction of these villas was undertaken by Goyal Fashions Private Limited.
The Rajasthan government, under its 2019 Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS), has approved a special investment package worth Rs115 crore for the same developer to expand the site into a full‑scale hotel‑resort project.
The package is intended to boost tourism infrastructure in the region and is being allocated specifically to Goyal Fashions Private Limited as part of the state’s effort to attract private capital into hospitality ventures.
