The Rajasthan Tax Department has widened its ongoing inquiry into alleged tax evasion and false claim submissions. Officials said the broadened probe will cover additional sectors and entities suspected of underreporting income or submitting inaccurate documentation.

The department indicated that it will employ enhanced data analytics and cross‑verification with other government databases to identify discrepancies. Audits and field inspections are expected to be intensified in regions where irregularities have been flagged.
