Rajasthan police dismantled a drug manufacturing unit near the India‑Pakistan border, seizing 920 grams of MD and related chemicals.

Rajasthan police on Thursday dismantled a clandestine drug manufacturing unit located near the India‑Pakistan border. The operation, conducted by the state’s anti‑drug squad, resulted in the seizure of 920 grams of MD along with a range of precursor chemicals.

The seized drugs were found in a makeshift facility that had been operating covertly for several months. Authorities say the unit was part of a larger network trafficking illicit substances across the border.

Police officials confirmed that the operation was carried out after receiving intelligence about the unit’s activities. The seized chemicals are believed to be used in the production of MD, a potent narcotic.

The anti‑drug squad is continuing its investigation to trace the supply chain and identify other members of the network. No casualties were reported during the raid.

The Rajasthan government has reiterated its commitment to cracking down on drug trafficking along the border region.
