The Special Operation Group uncovered new evidence in the 2021 sub‑inspector recruitment paper‑leak scandal and arrested Dungar Prakash for installing his brother‑in‑law as a dummy candidate. Total arrests in the probe have risen to 154.

Jaipur, Rajasthan – The Rajasthan police’s Special Operation Group (SOG) disclosed fresh findings in the long‑running paper‑leak investigation linked to the 2021 Sub‑Inspector recruitment exam. The agency announced the arrest of Dungar Prakash, who is accused of placing his brother‑in‑law as a dummy candidate to secure a sub‑inspector posting.

According to the police, the scheme involved submitting a fabricated answer sheet on behalf of the dummy aspirant, thereby bypassing the merit‑based selection process. The SOG’s probe has so far led to 154 arrests of individuals alleged to have participated in the illicit network.

Authorities said the latest arrest underscores the continued focus on dismantling the paper‑leak racket and restoring confidence in the state’s recruitment examinations. The investigation remains ongoing, with further interrogations expected to reveal additional conspirators.

The police have not disclosed any further details about the evidence or the legal proceedings against Dungar Prakash at this stage.
