Due to the upcoming Panchayat elections in Rajasthan, the half‑yearly examinations for classes 9 to 12 have been moved to 25 November through 7 December, while the schedule for classes 1 to 8 will be announced later.
The Rajasthan state education department has revised the timetable for the half‑yearly examinations of senior secondary students in response to the scheduled Panchayat elections. The new dates for classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 are now set from 25 November to 7 December, as announced in an official circular referenced by Amar Ujala.
The adjustment aims to avoid any clash between the electoral process and academic assessments, ensuring that students can appear for their exams without disruption. Schools across the state are instructed to adhere to the revised schedule and inform parents and students promptly.
While the senior classes have received a confirmed timetable, the board has deferred the release of the examination calendar for classes 1 to 8. Officials indicated that the lower‑grade schedule will be communicated once the election timeline is fully clarified.
Education authorities have urged schools to update their internal calendars and to coordinate with local election officials to manage any logistical overlaps, emphasizing the priority of uninterrupted academic progress.
