Monsoon currents have reached Rajasthan, with heavy rainfall recorded in Jhalawar on Friday. The state is expected to experience monsoon entry in the first week of July.
The much-anticipated monsoon has made its initial approach towards Rajasthan, bringing significant rainfall to parts of the state. On Friday, scattered light to moderate showers accompanied by thunder were observed in the eastern regions, while the western areas received light to moderate rainfall.
Jhalawar district, particularly the Aklehra area, recorded the highest rainfall, measuring 51.0 millimeters. This downpour signals the advancing monsoon season.
Weather forecasts indicate that the full monsoon is expected to officially enter Rajasthan during the first week of July, bringing relief and potentially more widespread precipitation across the state.
