Rajasthan has assembled 600 wrestlers and supplied 1,100 kg of desi ghee in a bid to outshine Haryana on the wrestling mat.
Rajasthan’s state sports authorities have gathered 600 wrestlers for a statewide training program aimed at challenging Haryana’s dominance in the sport.
The initiative includes the distribution of 1,100 kilograms of desi ghee, a traditional nutritional supplement used by wrestlers to enhance strength and recovery.
Officials say the move is part of a broader strategy to boost wrestling talent and promote the sport across the state.
The program will see wrestlers training under experienced coaches, with the goal of producing athletes who can compete at national and international levels.
The state’s commitment reflects growing competition between Rajasthan and Haryana in Indian wrestling circles.
