Rajasthan's ANT-F has arrested a key supplier, Mangilal Bishnoi, who allegedly defrauded fellow smugglers of ₹6.5 lakh by selling them Plaster of Paris as 'bromo'. He then reportedly arranged for the fake goods to be seized by police.
The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANT-F) in Rajasthan has apprehended a primary supplier identified as Mangilal Bishnoi. He is accused of orchestrating a scheme to defraud other smugglers.
Bishnoi allegedly sold Plaster of Paris (POP) to his associates, passing it off as the controlled substance 'bromo'. Through this deception, he is reported to have swindled them out of ₹6.5 lakh.
Further allegations suggest that Bishnoi then facilitated the seizure of these counterfeit goods by the police, effectively turning his own operation into a trap for his accomplices.
